Meal planning…daunting, isn’t it?
Well, maybe sometimes – especially if you’re in the midst of changing your family’s diet. But, in the next few weeks I will be sharing some of my meal planning and prep strategies that have worked with my crazy awesome family of 5, and how I’m dealing with a 5-year old, very picky eater!
I’m always on the lookout for new recipes and like to create my own so keep an eye out for some new recipes on the site and more.
This week really had it’s ups and downs – with kids and schedules, the full moon, a flat tire, etc. AND WE RAN OUT OF DIAPERS, Y’ALL. So, that was fun putting the baby in a pull up for the night. But, nothing a trip to Target can’t fix, am I right? But on the plus side, I got to talk to ALL of my sisters in the past two days, which is AMAZING!
We finished off the week with some smoothies for good behavior at
pre-school at a lot of sunshine at the park – followed by a gluten free pizza for the kids and and early bedtime. Well, the kids got to bed early.
Why, oh why am I up so late? Well…..it’s finally quiet. And I have tea. And my Sprouts sale paper for the week. Also, I just got a pork shoulder prepped for the smoker in the morning. I will be tweaking our award winning recipe with some natural and organic ingredients instead of my conventional mainstays. We’ll see how it goes!
