My favorite tea this week!

img_7102Herbal Tea…yumm!  It’s a zero calorie relaxing treat any time of day!  I drink alot of herbal tea each day but the one I’ve enjoyed the most this week is Numi Gratitude blend.  It’s a very earthy tea with a bit of sweetness/licorice flavor in it.  I take it unsweetened but I bet it would be good with a bit of honey, too!  It’s a good tea for morning or evening or just a time out in the middle of the day.

It has Tulsi (Holy Basil) and Ashwagandha which are adaptogenic herbs that can help reduce stress and support the adrenal glands.  Find it HERE.

Today we made bone broth to support gut health, especially since someone in the family is coming off a round of antibiotics.  After getting our vitamin D and running energy off at the park, we made chocolate-banana protein muffins (recipe coming soon!) as a treat for our preschool teachers and the kids decorated bags to put them in.  They had a lot of fun!

Tomorrow we are making Einkorn tortillas for some homemade taco roll-ups.  Excited to try this new recipe!  More to come…
