I’m Back, Being Real, and CHAOS

img_1371Here I am again, typing into the cloud!  This summer we moved into a new house and I took a break from blogging and posting my recipes and wellness journey online.

I have been working hard on a lot of new recipes to share which will be posted to the blog soon, including this tasty Pimento Cheese recipe!

My big kid started KINDERGARTEN a few weeks ago.  Kindergarten, y’all!  He is a mainstream, bus-riding, grade-schooler.  He absolutely loves it and he seems to be doing well!  I will write more on this later, but let me just say – this is so far from where we were last year!

I was talking to my wonderful, handsome, and brilliant husband a few days ago about my little blog, and how I want to grow it big, and encourage other people and help them be inspired on their family’s wellness journey.  He was very encouraging but gave me a valuable piece of advice.  He said that so many bloggers seem so put together, they seem perfect.  They are amazing time managers and have perfectly clean houses and well-behaved children.  They make gourmet meals every day and never eat junk.  They never have laundry piles or floors decorated with dog fur.  Right?!  It’s so easy to put the prettiest and most impressive pictures all over Instagram or Facebook and make it seem like you have a seamless life.  But, IT’S NOT REAL.  Not for anyone and certainly not for me.  But, I do want to share what I’m passionate about, especially if it helps others.

And I said all that to say, I will be sharing a lot more of the chaos and craziness in my life.  I will post my awesome recipes, and YES I will even stage my dinner plate for a good Instagram photo.  But I promise to remind anyone who reads on here how imperfect I am.  And how crazy life can get.  Especially with kids!  So, to start –

Here’s my chaos of the day:  After bathtime all 3 kids went absolutely CRAZY right before bed.  Everyone melted down and screamed for at least 5 minutes.  One kid ended up sleeping in a recliner.  One kid ended up in our bed watching The Regular Show with daddy in a princess dress and one actually fell asleep but she has been up in the middle of the night for the past 9 nights so….the clock is ticking.  Nevermind, kid #2 is up asking to go and look at stars.

Going to look at stars now!  Here’s some photos of my crazy life at the moment!
